TEREA Japan is one of six origins we carry, delivered instantly across our 26 areas. Prices are set per carton of 200 sticks and move with the market — the figure on the site when you order is the one that applies.
Japan is the origin where the names stop working the way you expect. Everything you know about reading a European TEREA pack has to be set aside here, and that is the single most useful thing to understand before ordering it.
What is TEREA Japan?
It is TEREA produced for the Japanese domestic market, with Japanese packaging and Japan's own line-up. Japan is one of the larger heated-tobacco markets and its range is correspondingly deep.
The stick is standard. It fits IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i only — not the earlier blade-based IQOS ORIGINALS generation, and not BONDS by IQOS.
What changes is the range, the pack, the price — and, uniquely among our six origins, the naming system.
Why do Japanese TEREA names look nothing like European ones?
Because the Japanese range is named descriptively rather than by colour or material. Where a European pack says Amber, Sienna or Russet, a Japanese pack says Regular, Rich Regular or Warm Regular.
We read this off the manufacturer's own Japanese market site on 24 August 2026. The Japanese range does not use the colour-word system at all in its tobacco lines, and its menthol lines are labelled by what they are rather than by a colour alone.
The practical consequence is blunt: a European flavour list is close to useless for ordering Japanese stock, and vice versa.
The four groups the Japanese site uses
The Japanese site sorts its own range into four headings, which map onto the four flavour families we use everywhere else on this site.
| The Japanese site's heading | Our family name | Names verified in that group |
|---|---|---|
| Regular | Tobacco | Regular, Rich Regular, Clear Regular, Smooth Regular, Balanced Regular, Warm Regular, Ruby Regular |
| Menthol | Menthol | Menthol, Mint, Black Menthol |
| Flavour Menthol | Fruit-menthol | Purple Menthol, Black Purple Menthol, Black Ruby Menthol, Yellow Menthol, Black Yellow Menthol, Tropical Menthol, Fusion Menthol, Bright Menthol, Black Sunshine Menthol, Black Fuchsia Menthol |
| Capsule Menthol | Capsule | Blossom Pearl, Stellar Pearl, Sun Pearl, Oasis Pearl, Riviera Pearl, Shine Pearl, Velvet Pearl |
All names above were read from that market site as the contents of the national range. None is a claim that we hold it — ask us what is in today.
How to read a Japanese TEREA name
Three rules cover the whole range, and they are different from the European ones.
- "Regular" in a name means a tobacco-family line with no cooling. The word in front of it — Rich, Clear, Smooth, Balanced, Warm — is the character.
- "Menthol" in a name means cooling. A fruit or colour word in front of it means fruit-menthol rather than plain menthol.
- "Black" at the front marks a Japan-market line. It is a range marker, not a flavour.
Only one rule carries over unchanged from Europe: "Pearl" still means a crush capsule inside, confirmed on 27 of 27 Pearl lines we have checked.
One thing to check before you order Japanese
The Japanese market carries SENTIA sticks alongside TEREA, and we do not sell SENTIA. Both sit in the same ILUMA stick section of the Japanese site, so a name copied from a Japanese list may not be a TEREA name at all.
Check the pack says TEREA before you order. If you are working from a Japanese list and are not sure, send us the name and we will tell you which range it belongs to.
Why do TEREA prices differ by origin?
Because the gap between origins opens upstream, in the market a batch was produced for, before any UAE reseller is involved. Each national market has its own retail price, its own range and its own shipping terms, and a reseller inherits all three.
We carry six origins — Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Switzerland, Japan and Italy — and each is priced individually, per carton of 200, on the site. Those figures move with the market, so the price at the moment you order is the one that applies. We rank origins on price and availability only — we make no claim that any origin is superior or inferior to any other.
What is in the Japanese range?
Twenty-seven flavours, the largest range we hold, and the one with the most menthol variants — thirteen of the twenty-seven are menthol or fruit-over-menthol before you reach the capsules.
| Family | Lines | |
|---|---|---|
| Tobacco | 7 | Clear Regular, Rich Regular, Regular, Smooth Regular, Balanced Regular, Warm Regular, Ruby Regular |
| Menthol | 3 | Black Menthol, Menthol, Mint |
| Fruit over menthol | 10 | Black Purple Menthol, Purple Menthol, Black Ruby Menthol, Black Yellow Menthol, Yellow Menthol, Tropical Menthol, Fusion Menthol, Bright Menthol, Black Sunshine Menthol, Black Fuchsia Menthol |
| Capsule | 7 | Blossom Pearl, Stellar Pearl, Sun Pearl, Oasis Pearl, Riviera Pearl, Shine Pearl, Velvet Pearl |
The “Black” lines are the colder end of the range — the maker’s own wording for each of them describes an intensely cold menthol, with the fruit aroma as the thing that separates one from the next.
These names are romanisations. The Japanese site publishes its flavour names in katakana only. Every Latin name above is a transliteration we have made consistent across the site so you can find and reorder the same line. They are not English names published by the maker.
Range checked against the maker’s Japanese site on 24 August 2026.

Quick answers: what else do people ask?
How much is TEREA Japan in Abu Dhabi?
Prices are quoted per carton of 200 sticks and move with the market, so the figure on the site at the moment you order is the one that applies. Ask us for today's price before ordering.
Why do Japanese TEREA names look so different?
Because the Japanese range is named descriptively rather than by colour or material — Regular, Rich Regular, Black Menthol — where the European ranges use colour words such as Amber or Sienna. We read this on the manufacturer's Japanese market site on 24 August 2026.
What does "Regular" mean on a Japanese TEREA pack?
It marks a tobacco-family line with no cooling. The word in front of it — Rich, Clear, Smooth, Balanced or Warm — describes the character of the blend.
What does "Black" mean in a Japanese name?
It marks a Japan-market line rather than a flavour. Black Menthol, Black Ruby Menthol and Black Purple Menthol all sit in the Japanese range and not in the European ones we checked.
Is SENTIA the same as TEREA?
No, and we do not sell it. SENTIA is a separate stick range sitting alongside TEREA in the Japanese ILUMA section, so a name from a Japanese list is not automatically a TEREA name — check the pack.
Does Japanese TEREA fit IQOS ILUMA?
Yes. Every TEREA stick fits IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i whatever market it was made for, and none fits the earlier blade-based IQOS ORIGINALS generation or BONDS by IQOS.
Do Japanese Pearl lines have a capsule?
Yes — it is the one naming rule that carries over from Europe unchanged. We have confirmed a crush capsule on 27 of 27 Pearl lines, and Japan's Capsule Menthol group is built on Pearl names.
Can I match a European flavour to a Japanese one?
Not by name, and we will not guess a match for you. Tell us the family and the character you want — cooling or not, fruit or not, capsule or not — and we will point you at the Japanese lines that fit the description.
How many sticks are in a carton?
200 sticks — 10 packs of 20. All six origin prices are quoted per carton of 200 so they compare directly.
Can you tell me which Japanese lines are in stock right now?
Yes — ask before ordering. Stock in an instant-delivery business changes through the day, so this page covers the national range rather than our shelf.
Contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical. Sold to adults aged 21 and over only, as a matter of our own store policy.
