Does TEREA work in older IQOS devices?
No. TEREA sticks are designed to be used only with IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA i devices, and the manufacturer states they are not compatible in size or technology with the earlier blade devices.
The manufacturer's compatibility page names those blade devices as IQOS ORIGINALS DUO, IQOS ORIGINALS ONE and IQOS 3 DUO Refreshed. Those take HEETS.
Its UAE page for TEREA puts the instruction directly: do not use ILUMA and TEREA sticks with previous IQOS generations, as this may cause damage to your device.

The manufacturer states that a TEREA stick used in a device with blade heating technology may damage the blade.
This is the expensive direction: a stick the device refuses costs a stick, a damaged blade costs a device.
Will an ILUMA heat a HEETS stick?
No. The manufacturer's support FAQ states that the device will simply not start.
An ILUMA has no blade and heats by induction, which requires the metal element only SMARTCORE sticks carry. A HEETS stick gives it nothing to heat.
Does TEREA work in BONDS by IQOS?
No. The manufacturer states that BLENDS sticks are not compatible with IQOS ILUMA or ILUMA i devices, and that SMARTCORE sticks such as TEREA are not compatible with the BONDS by IQOS device.
