Al Bahia, Al Bahya, and where Shahama ends
Al Bahia is inside our covered area and reached instantly, from 09:00 to the 21:00 cut-off. Spell it Al Bahia or Al Bahya — both appear on signage, tenancy contracts and mapping, and both reach us as the same district.
The confusion worth heading off is with Shahama. Al Bahia forms part of the Al Shahama district and the two names get used loosely for each other, but only Al Bahia sits on our covered list.
Any line on the site can come here, whether that is TEREA Apricity Dimensions — Indonesia, TEREA Provence Pearl — Uzbekistan, TEREA Black Sunshine Menthol — Japan or TEREA Turquoise — Italy.
The two landmarks that fix almost any address here
Al Bahia has two very large, very findable landmarks physically inside it.
Deerfields Mall is registered to Al Shahama Road, Al Bahya — not to Shahama, despite the road name — and it is the reference point most residents give first. Emirates Park Zoo, with more than 1,400 animals and its resort chalets, sits in Al Bahia as well and works the same way from the highway side.
Almost any Al Bahia address can be described in one line: which of the two you are nearer, and which side of the road.
Villas with gardens, flats with covered parking
Housing splits cleanly, and that decides the handover. Villas run from two to six bedrooms with their own gardens and parking directly outside the home, so those are gate deliveries.
Apartments run from studios to four bedrooms, with secure covered parking inside the building. For those, send building name, floor and flat number and the driver comes to the entrance.
Between the E10 and the E11
Al Bahia sits on the coastal strip between the E10 and E11 highways, with Al Shahama Road running through it and the E12 serving this stretch as well.
New Shahama and Al Reef lie to the east, Yas Island to the south, and Al Rahba shares the north-western edge. Mangrove plantations run along the coastal side, which is why some streets end at water rather than continuing through.
None of that changes the promise. Al Bahia is on the covered list, and everything on the covered list is reached instantly.
The smaller markers drivers use
SEHA Al Bahia Healthcare Center and Boulevard Medical Center are the local health reference points, with Al Rahba Hospital roughly ten minutes away on the northern side.
Al Bahia Mosque, the Carrefour Hypermarket, SPAR Express and Bahia Park Library all work as drop landmarks. Among schools, Aspen Heights British School, Amity International School and Al Basma British School are the names a driver will recognise.
Bus routes 210, 218, 225, 240 and 420 serve the district, so a stop name is another usable reference.
Opening hours, the cut-off and what it costs
We take orders from 09:00 and stop at 21:00 sharp. That is the last order accepted, not the last delivery made.
Delivery is free on orders of AED 375 or more and AED 30 below it, shown in the basket before you confirm. Payment is cash or card at the door, with nothing charged in advance.
The covered areas either side of Al Bahia
- Al Rahba — sharing the north-western edge
- Al Samha — further north again
- Al Reef — to the east
- Yas Island — south, across the highway
- Al Raha Beach
- Khalifa City
Six of the 26 Abu Dhabi areas we cover. Al Ain and the Al Dhafra region are outside our range and we decline those orders rather than quote a longer time.
What we carry out here
TEREA sticks and ILUMA devices, held in Abu Dhabi. TEREA comes from six manufacturing origins — Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Switzerland, Japan and Italy — and since one flavour name can be made in several of them, every listing names the country.
A carton is 200 sticks, ten packs of twenty. TEREA fits ILUMA and ILUMA i devices only.
Twenty-one and over, checked at the door
Selling to adults aged 21 and over is our own store policy. The driver may ask for ID and can refuse the handover on the doorstep.
Quick answers
Is Al Bahia the same place as Al Shahama?
Al Bahia forms part of the wider Al Shahama district and the names are often used interchangeably, but only Al Bahia is on our covered list. Check which one your address actually falls under before ordering.
Should I write Al Bahia or Al Bahya?
Either. Both spellings are in common use for the same district and neither slows anything down at our end.
Can I use Deerfields Mall as my landmark?
Yes, and it is the most reliable one in the district. Give the mall as the reference plus the direction and distance to your street or building.
My villa street has no name on the map. What should I send?
Send the villa number plus the nearest mosque, school or supermarket. Al Bahia Mosque, Carrefour and the Aspen Heights and Amity school entrances are all markers a driver can act on.
Is delivery free to Al Bahia?
At AED 375 or more, yes. Under that it is AED 30. The thresholds are identical in every area we cover.
How late can I place an Al Bahia order?
Up to 21:00. Orders after that are handled from 09:00 the following morning.
Contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical. Sold to adults aged 21 and over only, as a matter of our own store policy.
