One street, several names

Zayed the First Street, which plenty of people still call Electra Street, cuts across it and runs about nine kilometres between Al Zahiyah and the InterContinental at Al Bateen. Khaleej Al Arabi Street is the other through-route.
If you send us a street, send the building with it. A street number by itself is the least useful part of a Khalidiyah address.
Where the district starts and stops
Khalidiyah sits directly behind the Corniche, which forms its northern edge. Al Bateen is the western neighbour, Al Manhal and Al Zaab lie to the east, and Al Rowdah is to the south.
Corniche Beach is roughly two hundred metres from the northern end of Khalidiyah Street. That is why so many addresses here describe themselves as being on the Corniche when they are a block or two behind it.
The towers people name
Prestige Tower, Al Dana Tower, Crescent Towers and Burj Al Khair Building are the reference points along Khalidiyah Street, most of them between twenty and thirty storeys. Khalidiya Village and Corniche Al Khalidiyah are the named residential clusters.

Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Park and Speciale Park do the same job at street level, as do the Sheraton Khalidiyah Hotel and Zayed the 2nd Mosque on Zayed the First Street.

At AED 375 or more delivery is free; under it, AED 30. The driver carries a card machine and takes cash.
