The marina fronts the Mussafah Channel between Nareel Island and Al Karamah Island, and is larger than it looks from the road: 324 berths in the West Marina for boats of 10 to 18 metres, 48 in the East Marina for yachts up to 30 metres, and a 138-space dry stack.
If you are aboard, send the pontoon and berth number. If you live above the promenade and its retail row, the building name and unit is enough.
Al Bateen Wharf and Al Marasy sit on the same water, and Bloom Marina carries the Abu Dhabi EDITION at its end. From a moving car they read as one waterfront, so the development name matters more here than the street.
Behind Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, it is villas — and villas mean gates
Set back from the water, Al Bateen is a grid of large villa plots with four- to twelve-storey blocks and compound walls between them. Most villas have their own gate rather than a shared gatehouse.
Send the villa number with the street — Al Bateen Street, Khalifa Al Mubarak Street, Baynunah Street and King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street are the ones we hear most — and the driver rings you from the gate.
Where a wall encloses several homes, give the compound name first and the villa number second. That is the order the guard expects to hear it in.
Embassy blocks, ministries and streets you cannot simply stop on
Several embassies and government buildings sit among the residential plots, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation among them. Kerbside stopping is restricted there and a driver will not leave a car unattended.
If your home is on one of those streets, put it in the order notes. We call ahead and hand over at your gate instead of circling for a space.
Landmarks that shorten a search here
Al Bateen Beach, on Khalifa Al Mubarak Street off Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, is the clearest anchor on the seaward side: an 800-metre Blue Flag stretch with a water sports centre, facing Hudayriyat Island.
Al Bateen Executive Airport is the inland equivalent: Abu Dhabi's main airport in the 1960s, military from 1983, and since 2009 the region's first dedicated private jet airport. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Park, the Etihad Modern Art Gallery and Nation Towers Mall are the other markers we use.

We open at 09:00 and the last order goes in at 21:00; anything later goes out from 09:00 next morning.
Delivery is free on orders of AED 375 or more and AED 30 below that. The driver takes cash or card at the gate or door.

Our own store policy sets the floor at 21. Drivers may ask to see ID at the gate and may decline to complete a handover there. It is a rule we set for ourselves, and it says nothing about the law.
